CBX125F 部品取り車をゲット

部品取り車をゲット。

復活させれたらとの淡い期待は見事打ち砕かれました。

キャブのマニホールドのゴムが剥離し使用できない。

部品交換するにもホンダでは廃番です。

復活は諦め、部品取りとしてマフラーを移植予定です。

タイヤとチェーンを新品に交換後、9月1日に原付2種登録。

走らせての印象は、エンジンの常用回転域は7000rpm～9000rpmで、

それより下の回転を使うバイクではない。

自分には好みのエンジン特性ですナ。

ライディングポジションが窮屈である。

⇒これはCBX125Fの初期型のハイシートに換える事で、

尻を後ろへずらす事が出来、改善された。

CBX125F 後輪リムにダメージ有り！ found rear wheel rim damaged!

前後タイヤ交換、チェーンも交換、

センタースタンドを立て、エンジン始動。

しかしリアホイールが暴れる！

リアホイール単体にしてリムの振れを確認すると、

リムに歪みある事判明。

ヤフオク闇だが、想定内。

程度の良い中古を探すのみ。

I replaced with tires and chain. Then I standed CBX125F with center stand and drove rear wheel,it rotated with bad vibration. I removed the rear wheel and checked the rim allowance. It was out! I have to find another good one.

CBX125F チェーン交換前に

チェーン交換前に掃除して、フレームの錆落とし防錆処理、

そしてタッチペンで黒色塗装。

この車両のフレームの錆具合は浅く、深刻ではない。

完璧なレストアを望むならパウダーコートするべきだが、

CBX125Fにそれだけの価値があるのか？

それは、オーナーの思い入れ次第…。

CBX125F 不人気カウル

CBX125FとCBX250Sは不人気車でしたが、理由の一つはフロントカウルでしょう。

カウルを外しネイキッド仕様にした車両も多く見られます。

CBX125Fのカウルはヘッドライト幅とほぼ同じでとてもスリム。

ホンダさん、もう少しボリュームあるカウルにした方が良かったかも。

他車のカウルに付け替え、ピッタリくるカスタムを見た事ありませんネ。

CBX125F ブレーキペダル曲がり修正

フレーム側へ曲がっているブレーキペダルを修正、

修正方法はハンマーで叩くだけ。

The damaged pedal was corrected by a hummer.

ブレーキペダルを外したらフレームの鉄錆も落としておく。

この車両のフレームは、溶接ビード辺りに錆発生しているが

パイプ本体に錆は少ない、有難いね～。

「まずは走れる状態にするのが目的なので、各部の再塗装は考えていない。気付いた所を防錆処置するだけ」

Rust was found at weld bead of frame. No serious rust was found on whole frame.

CBX125F スクリーン補修⇒そして断念

カウルスクリーンの割れをレジンで補修。

マスキングテープを外し、ペーパーでならしていたら

バキッと割れ復活！

補修を諦め中華製のCBX250S用スクリーンを購入する事に。

I repaired the windshield crack with resin.

While I flattened the crack with a sandng paper,it broken again.

I decieded to buy a new windshield,which is Chinese.

CBX125F 現状チェック-2

フロントサス下部のアルミ錆が酷い！

まずは錆を落としアルミ地むき出しにする予定。

この錆具合だと他部品にもアルミ錆の発生が怪しまれる。

アルミ錆の出ている部分は容易に塗膜が剥がれるだろう。

サイレンサーに穴。エンジンをしっかり回さず、オイルがサイレンサーまで届かなかったと思われる。どうするか思案中。

チェーンの汚れを除去。張りを調整したら許容値を超えている事判明、チェーンの交換が必要！

不具合修正

キャブレター直ぐ下のセルモーターがガソリンで黄変している。

そして燃料コック根元にアルミテープが....ガソリン漏れた所為？

という訳で純正O'ringを取り寄せて交換、コックの清掃。

ハンドルバーに曲がり・・・鉄パイプを使い、力技で曲がり修正。

不具合箇所を見つけ、何が起きたのか推測するのも楽しい。

CBX125F 現状チェック-1

車両受領後の、現状のチェック。

左右に転倒痕あり左右のレバーが曲がっている、

左ハンドルバーにも曲がりあり。

転倒した所為でスクリーンに割れあるが幸いカウル自体に割れなし。

共に補修が必要。

After receipt,I've checked the condition. Windshield was cracked due to accidental strike. Both handle levers bent. No problem. I can fix it.

1992 CBX125F I've got

1992 CBX125Fを10万円弱で入手。 実働車という事で現車確認せずに落札。 過去にCBX125Customの後期型、前期型2台を所有、 今回念願のCBX125Fを入手、 125ccで6速というのは欧州車の様、 どんな走りをするのか興味津々。 I've got a Honda CBX125F at Yahoo Auction. She has 125cc DOHC RFVC engine with 6 speed transmition. RFVC is same design of HEMI cylinder head. I think CBX125F smallest HEMI motorcycle engine.

CBX125Custom フロントフォークオイル漏れ

後輪を１８インチに交換して一走りしたら

インナーチューブからのオイル漏れが発生。

これまで騙し騙し乗ってきたが、

走行中の突き上げ酷く我慢できなくなったので、

中古フォークチューブ一式に交換。

オイルシール交換し、オイルを入れ替えるよりもアッシーで交換する方がお得です。

フォークオイルは交換していない。

Fork tube oil leaks again.

Oil leaks was found so

I replaced with used fork tube assembly. 

It better than replacng seals and fill fork oil.

My CBX125C: Replaced 16inch rear wheel with 18ich wheel.

I have replaced 16inch rear wheel with 18ich wheel.

She looks good,loos like standart motorcyle.

Seat got slightly higher position. Which is good point.

Foot rest location is still not good. It needs improvement.

CBX125カスタムの16インチホイールを１８インチに換える。

すると250ccバイクの様な伸びやかなスタイルになる。

シート高さも若干上がったので好都合。

CBX125カスタムのステップ位置を後方へ出来たら

CBX125Fのフレームへ載せ換える必要もないであろう。

Honda CBX125F and CBX125C

Honda R.F.V.C. means Radial Four Valve Combustion Chamber
Honda designed RFVC engine for dirtbikes firstly due to needs for more power,torque and less fuel consuming.

RFVC engine mechanism was adopted to CBX125F and CBX125C in Japan
a few years later.
Their engine was smallest 125cc engine with RFVC mechanism.

If you ride CBX125F at vintage motorcycle race,you will be satisfied with result for its high performance.
If you came across CBX125 at your local shop,buy her now.

CBX125C is retro chopper style,which engine adjusted mild for downtown use.

I have recently got junk CBX125C for my daily use. 
125cc displacement is Mopet category so that registration is easy and less insurance cost.
My junk CBX125C needed overhaul fuel preparation.
Tank inside was worst condition with rust.  Fuel cock was worse neither.
Twin carburetors were needed to be brake down several times to clean and adjust.
I enjoy riding her engine with high revolution.  I might get a CBX125F additionally when ride CBX125C for a while. 

I need to dismantle SR400 engine to ship abroad.

But it is too heavy with post service.

I am going to separate into upper head and lower case.

It is drainning engine oil.

Air conditioning suit

It is so hot to work in summer.

Air conditioning suit is available.

It makes workers body cooler. 



Does anyone develop much more powerfull air conditioning suit for motorcycle ride in summer? 



I know there is no-sleeve shirt which filled with water,vaporizing water and rider cooler.

How about air conditionning suit for ride?

LED tail light did not light

Prior to go touring,I changed to LED tail light.

But It did not light when stopped.

I think cause bad connection of wireharness.

I will check terminals of elec.coupling. 

Kawasaki Estrella 250cc

Kawasaki Estrella is 250cc displacement.

And 250TR is a little sister of Estrella.

So gas tank can be installed without any modification.

250TR tank is simple shape so that easy to make scrambler as shown on top.

Trellis is one of frame type.

Ducati adopts Trellis frame.  Buell S1W as well.

I like those Japanese 250cc motorcycles Trellis frame works made by hand.

1988 K100RS cafe racer,now on sale at Yahoo Auction

It is hard to make a cool K100RS cafe racer.

Because original K100RS was perfectly designed by BMW at that era.

In line four engine gave more power and speed than flat twin engine.

But it was heavy due to flying big block engine.

I think weight lighter K75 triple engine more controllable than K100RS.

This K100RS is equipped with universal fairing and racing rear seat pan.

And repainted tank is showing its aluminium skin on both sides. How cool.
