re-paint R80RT engine head cover

I have not located where dis-order of electric circuit happened.

So I will re-paint engine head cover before repair.

I do not have sand blaster so I have to use chemical paint remover

which is very itch when touched.

The head cover is made from aluminum and  it got bad corrosion due to its age.

I have removed paint as shown on above photo.

My R80RT

When I moved to Aichi prefecture from Tokyo,

turning indicators did not work. I had to indicate by my hands.

And then I found light of speedometer broken. I replaced it with new one.

I started engine but left carburetor over flew.

I fixed the problem with seal kit and watching CLYMER maintenance manual.

I started engine and right carburetor over flew as well. I replaced with new seals.

But turning indicators & rear stop light did not work.

I have to find cause of this problem to check circuit for those electrical flow.

I am quite a beginner for maintenance,I will try.

My R80RT carburetors over flow

Prior to visit to BMW onwer's rally in Gufu-Dynaland, I had to fix my R80RT carburetors.

My R80RT is 1978 model.  O'rings are completely damaged due to its age.

I bought CLYMER maintenance manual from Amazon USA.

I managed to fix carburetors,but I could not go with R80RT.

Because turning indicators and rear stop light still did not work.

It was a day before May 15th,2011 at my garage. My garage is a barn.

Azuki bean better than Chocolate

Have you heard Azuki bean ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azuki_bean

Eastern Asian knows it but Japanese Azuki bean recipe is interesting.

I boil them for long time until bean skin become soft.

After that,I add sugar and a little salt.

I will get Azuki bean paste at last.

I believe Azuki bean paste is better than Chocolate,which is low fat.

I love "Taiyaki" very much !

発電機 Generator

昔、脱穀機とエンジンが別々だった時代はエンジンでベルトドライブして脱穀機を動かしていた。
今回トラクターの原動機を利用し200volt電気を発電したいと思っているのだが

オルタネーター(ダイナモ)を二溝プーリーにするのは容易ではない。

そんな改造をする人は少ないのだろう。

このイセキトラクターを買った所に依頼してもすぐには動いてくれないだろうから、

自分で業者を探してオルタネーターを改造した。

仮組したらラジエーターのファンと接触しそうだったが調整すれば問題ないだろう、満足。

これで200VOLTのgeneratorに繋げ発電できそうだ。

200VOLTの発電機が見つからなくても100VOLTでよいのだ。

どなかた国産品で三相200VOLT 60Hzのジェネレーターを製造しているメーカーをご存じないでしょうか？

Custom bike show "JOINTS 2011" was held

Custom bike show JOINTS 2011 was held on April 10th at NAGOYA PORT MESSE.

I have been waiting for this event.

We can see a lot of V-twin bikes customized by Japanese builders there.

Of course we can see Metric customized bikes.

But they are bobber & chopper. Cafe racer is rare.

Most interesting is visitors bikes at parking lot,

which number is tremendous.

I think It is worth visiting to this event from abroad.

I actually recommended JOINTS 2011 a member of SR500 forum member in Toyota-city.

When I paint /5 in future,I have to explain classic BMW's blue to paintshop.

Does anyone know what color number classic BMW's blue is ?

To make is cheaper,I might paint with similar color of the MIATA's blue.
